Kerry Harrison - Lancashire Digital Skills Partnership Lead

Kerry leads the award-winning Lancashire Digital Skills Partnership (LDSP) part of the Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub, and brings together public, private, and third sector organisations to address the digital skills needs of the County. With a variety of ongoing projects including the MOD #DS4D Digital and Cyber Bursary Programme for 500 16–18-year-olds in Lancashire; the Lancashire Cyber Festival Education Week which reached over 10 000 young people in 2026 and collaboration with Future Dot Now aiming to reduce the 21 Million people in the UK who don’t have all the Essential Digital Skills needed for work.

 

Kerry completed an Executive MBA where her research focused on diversity and inclusion in digital and tech co-working spaces and won the She Inspires 2023 Women in Digital Award, Lancashire County Council 2025 Staff Star Award for Creativity and Innovation and named on the SheInspires Impact Leaders List 2026.

 

With over 20 years' experience in education, she has held roles from PE teacher and Assistant Head Teacher to HE/FE Curriculum Principal and Educational Technologist. In her spare time, she volunteers with West Lancashire Scouts and enjoys walking her dog and tap dancing.
